Today’s outfit was inspired by Mulan during the beginning scene of “Please Bring Honor To Us All”. Which yes. I was singing that in my head all day. Thanks for asking. I always loved the opening scene, especially as a young girl. And Mulan is the exact kind of woman I wanna be… pretty, independent, and kick butt. Even if this outfit wasn’t based on Mulan, I’d still love the vest and blazer with the incredibly ladylike dress.

This look is the definition of beach meets the street. I love the soft fabrics and how they accentuate the swimsuit underneath. Also, I absolutely love the breeziness of the hat, and the added color with the broach is absolutely fabulous.

Once I get organized and get my weeks planned out, be on the look out for the Office inspired outfits. It might be hard, but I’m willing to do it for fun…. THAT’S WHAT SHE SAID.
